*The origin of bio-wave premises on the hypothesis of Benjamin Franklin, a prominent American scientist in the 18^th century. He pointed out that there was a great electrical phenomenon happening between the Earth and the cosmos, and proposed that lightning in the sky could be ‘captured’ to cure diseases. He went on to envisage that electricity could be used to treat arthritis, neuralgia and other chronic disorders, thereby establishing today’s high potential healthcare devices. 

*In 1752, after his famous kite experiment, he improved on the German friction generator and used it to treat his gout. 

*In 1928, a Japanese medical doctor, Dr. Toshiyuki Hara invented a high voltage apparatus for clinical treatment of tuberculosis, prompting lots of doctors and physicists to begin a new era of R&D in electric potential treatment devices.

*In 1946, Tokyo Institute of Technology advocated that the introduction of negative charges (electrons) into the human body could activate globulins in the body to boost natural immunity.  

*During the 60’s of the 20^th century, the father of electronic medicine from Japan— Kenji Ito —harnessed high voltage negative charges to develop an electric potential treatment device for the purpose of family healthcare and medical use.

Bio-Wave in the human body:

In a resting cell, the electric potential inside it is negative, while that outside is positive. The resting potential of human cells is about -90mV, making them a natural biological battery. Since each cell constitutes a capacitor with positive and negative potentials (negative inside and positive outside), there exists a cell membrane potential. This type of electricity, constituting the source of life and a sign of vitality, is aptly called ‘bio-wave’. It is 6V in children, 3V in the middle-aged and 2V in the elderly. In the weak and the sick, bio-wave is even weaker. When bio-wave ceases, so does life itself.

Human cells are carriers of weak current or bio-wave, as proven by brain scans and electrocardiograms. A healthy body generates 300 μA - 500 μA of bio-wave. Most neonates show this healthy range of value too, but the sick and the aged exhibit a much lower value. Inevitably, no cells can escape the fate of slow metabolism, aging and dysfunction, losing the ability to maintain the healthy range of bio-wave (300 μA - 500 μA).
